Third-Party Events

Your fundraising event benefiting Komen Lubbock Area translates into real services that help real people right here on the South Plains—almost 1,000 services provided every year. It also helps find the cures.

Third-party events can take many forms.

  • A restaurant donates a portion of its proceeds from a specific time period.
  • A business hosts a special event that raises money.
  • A group or club holds a fundraiser such as a golf tournament or concert.

Please read the Third Party Event Guidelines for details on how to take advantage of this opportunity using the Komen Lubbock Area name and logo. A minimum donation of $50 is required to enter into a third-party agreement with Komen Lubbock Area, and the agreement must be submitted at least 10 days prior to your event.

For smaller events, you may consider not using the Komen name/logo, instead making a general statement that the funds raised will go to a local breast health organization.

Either way, we would be honored to receive funds raised and would give public recognition for your donation.

DIY Fundraising

Do you have a personal desire to join in our mission, or would you like to collect donations in lieu of birthday or anniversary gifts? Build a personal DIY fundraising page on the Komen Lubbock Area website and email friends and family asking for donations. By sharing your story, you offer others the chance to make a difference as well.
